CATHOLIC CARE OFFICE REFURBISHMENT NT

Catholic Care NT bought a building in the city centre of Darwin to create their new head office.
As parts of the building are still rented out Bennett Architecture came up with a step by step plan to renovate the space and create an office space tailored to the client’s needs.

The first floor has been gutted and new office space with open offices, meeting rooms and manager offices have been designed. A central point in the design was to create an atmosphere with close connection to nature and at the same time provide space for the numerous indigenous artwork of the client’s collection. Warm timber wall panelling with indigenous patterns contrast the concrete look flooring and are tied together with the natural colour palette.
