ENRICO CATALANO
SENIOR ARCHITECT
Enrico began his career as an Architect 40 years ago and is still learning. As the renowned architect Alvar Alto once said, ‘if you stop learning, you stop living’. Enrico has developed extensive experience in a diverse portfolio to include to various sectors, health care, commercial, education, local government, essential services, residential, tourism, hospitality and Industrial.
Enrico enjoys the whole gamut of services an architect is involved in, from the initial concept design phase through to the contractual management, however Enrico’s passion is designing; he loves the adventure of exploring the multitude of design possibilities and constantly refining to reach the best-balanced compromise.
Enrico has a strong interest in pursuing architecture for humanity, his Thesis was to do with providing affordable inner-city housing. He also spent seven years working for a not-for-profit Indigenous resource company designing and project managing community housing, medical centres, schools and teacher accommodation in the Kimberly region of WA.
During Enrico’s spare time, he spends time with this wife of 40 years and family bushwalking in the great outdoors, travelling and going to the gym.
