PAUL WATKINSON

SENIOR DESIGN MANAGER

Paul has gained considerable knowledge of design and building issues related to tropical and arid areas, including cyclonic design, through 40 years of project experience in the Northern Territory. This experience covers many facets of architecture and building, client relations, project management, design development, documentation and contract administration.

 Paul has considerable experience on Defence and NT government contracts. Over the past 15 years Paul has carried out design management on Defence and NT government contracts with a total value of $150m. Paul is heavily involved in the value management process, preparing and evaluating options, identifying and resolving design issues without compromising quality or client expectations. He gain satisfaction from following projects from initial briefing to successful outcomes for all shareholders.

While Paul loves sports, he admits that he is better at being track side at the thoroughbred horse races than he is participating on the golf course or the tennis court. He leaves the business of chasing tennis balls to his two dogs while he enjoys a nice red wine and plans his next overseas holiday.
