TORRENS PARK Residence, SA

This Torrens Park cottage required an additional bedroom as well as a façade upgrade to improve the overall presentation of the house. Due to the new evolving street character in the area which was already showing an influx of modern renovations and builds; a modern annexe containing a large master bedroom and equally as large walk in robe and bathroom was attached where the unoccupied and dilapidated courtyard once stood. Large format tin cladding, oversized structural beams and generous amounts of space, glazing and sculptural landscaping assisted in making this annexe one of the main features of the house.

The existing roof tiles were replaced with tin sheeting, new paint applied externally as well as a new gatehouse were also part of the works.
