rOYAL DARWIN HOSPITAL BIRTHING SUITE, NT

Bennett Architecture provided architectural consultancy services for the new Birthing Suite, to be constructed in the old Radiology Area, located on the ground floor of the Royal Darwin Hospital (RDH).

Existing documentation of the hospital was found to be incorrect and a full architectural and services laser site measure was needed when modelling the building. The design had to consider the construction of this facility within the Royal Darwin Hospital without interrupting its ongoing operations including the kitchen facility on the floor below.
