ANGURUGU POLICE STATION, NT

Located on Groote Eylandt, Bennett Architecture were engaged to deliver the design & documentation of a new police facility at Angurugu. We were awarded the project due to our extensive experience in remote police stations as well as our understanding of particular NT police guidelines having delivered numerous police stations previously.

Total floor area for the station is approximately 860m and consists of a reception area, two cells, hard interview rooms, exhibit / armoury storage, muster area, multifunction room, sally port and ablutions. Resilient finishes and hard surfaces are applied throughout all areas including secure plant space to ensure a lengthened lifespan of all materials, space and equipment.
