BAYVIEW RESIDENCE, NT

One of many tropical designer residences which Bennett Architecture have been commissioned to design, this home in Bayview utilises passive design solutions and the articulation of collected rainwater to create many functional and unique experiences around the home.

The arrangement of rooms throughout are separated via a breezeway corridor which enables occupants to feel as though they are outside when moving between rooms. The use of skylights, large width corridors, earthly colours and the audible of ponds in the garden create the feel of being in a resort. Rainwater runoff from the roof serves filling the ponds, backyard pool and the rock gardens and swales around the house.
